Although I assume you know a few right hand techniques, there are a couple of guitar lessons on picking and strumming. If you have not played at all, then start by working on strumming and picking. For the most part, it will come natural.

In order to be a "wanted" guitarist, you must be completely original and be able to fit in with the rest of the band.

You will be able to find instructional videos like these at the bottom of most pages. Check out these videos for some instruction or just a little inspiration. You can also look for your own videos by using the search box above the thumbnails.

You will want to learn from the top guitarists, so by all means, do learn from them so you can build a foundation, but do not copy them. Find your own style.
